Damini Celebre recently exhibited a drawing Star Dance at the Philadelphia Sketch Club Works on Paper show. This drawing was made while at Ghost Ranch New Mexico. The drawing was sold at the show.

 

Damini Celebre has studied with Jeanne Bessette and Kazuaki Tanahashi, she holds a BFA in Painting and Photography from the California Institute of the Arts, a Masters Degree in Acupuncture, and is a Certified Expressive Art Facilitator and shamanic practitioner. Ms. Celebre just completed an artist in residency at OCHO, Questa NM. Presently, she is exploring new ideas and techniques from that residency and is preparing for an upcoming residency in February, 2017 at Elephant Butte Lake Artist Retreat, New Mexico.

Philadelphia Sketch Club is America’s oldest club for artists. Since 1860 the PSC has served as a meeting place, forum for ideas, and a vital bridge between the creators and supporters of art. Past luminaries have included such American masters as Eakins and Anshutz.
