Call for Objects : My Philadelphia Story

In probably less than 30 minutes you can write a personal story and donate a miniature object that will become a part of Philadelphia’s history. The piece will be on permanent view at The Philadelphia International Airport, Terminal F to the 30 million annual passengers. The project is open to anyone and free to participate.

The artwork, titled My Philadelphia Story is an installation conceived by Won Kyoung Lee and Matthew Alden Price for the City of Philadelphia’s Percent for the Arts Program. For this project, over 700 objects will be collected and displayed in a hand-made walnut case.

Accompanying the objects will be a website, www.myphiladelphiastory.com, where viewers and access stories about each of the objects.

The final deadline is June 10th.
